This whole thing depends on what Iran’s Supreme Ayatollah wants to accomplish and the last I heard of him he was staining his robes running and hiding from what was probably an Israeli “proof-that-we-know-where-you-live” incident.

A well head doesn't know, or care what color it is painted. The only question is where does the gathering system for that well end up? If they don't put in a pipeline headed back to Iran it just doesn't matter.
