Social Security was called Unconstitutional when it was instituted but we have it today. I’m not sure what court challenges were mounted against Roosevelt’s Social Security

Social Security was challenged in Helvering v. Davis, 1937.

This was the granddaddy for the abuse of the General Welfare clause.

"The Dirty Dozen" is a book by Levy/Mellor, 2008. Most all of the judicial outrages since FDR are explained there.
