Ive grown accustomed to people thinking Im something of a dope but every once in a while, when they least expect it, I surprise them by being right.
But this one is tough to admit.
It turns out Im one of three people in the country who think George W. Bush will go down in history as a great president.
This isnt bad, because Im used to being in the minority.
Last November I was part of a small minority of American voters who felt Barack Obama was highly intelligent, attractive, handsome and spoke beautifully, but in the end he was a phony and a Socialist to boot. I guess the jury is still out on that oneor is it?

Just FYI, Jerry Della Femina is an advertising genius. The Meow Mix singing cat, the Joe Isuzu commercials, more genius ideas than can be listed. Libs, you should listen to him, he's a smart cookie.
This guy has more company than he thinks...

Well, if invented the Meow Mix singing cat campaign, I’d like to smack him just once for the psychic and aural trauma he caused me 20 years ago.

If Zero is where the bar is set, by comparison every other President is “great”.

People were mesmerized by Hitler too; although, from what I hear, he was quite intelligent.

I posted in another forum right after Obama was elected that I thought Obama's greatest accomplishment would be showing what a good president George W. Bush actually was. Obama is progressing very nicely towards that accomplishment/

Libs, you should listen to him, he's a smart cookie. Jerry made his bones as a copywriter on the creative side. Subsequently, he formed his own agency and had to deal with the business side. Like everbody in the Creative Department, he was a screaming lib -- creatives are seemingly hard-wired that way.
It's good to see that Jerry grew up...

Obama lacks what most presidents had....class and character.
If he had one or the other he might slide by.
Alas, he has none, just an empty suit with good oratory skills and a slogan.
Its wearing mighty thin and folks are catching up to his BS in droves.

Wow, I always thought of Jerry as a Donny Deutch-type who would make an hour lunch seem like an eternity. Who knew he actually has a brain and uses it to think about stuff? But then he would know propaganda when he saw it and 8 years of relentless negative and irrational Bush-bashing, does tend to stick out when you work in advertising promotion.
Good for you, Jerry.

I agree and so do many Iraqis. Although I knew it at the time everyday I am more proud of GWB’s Iraq mission and the three and a half years I contributed to it.
