Palin supports McCain '100 percent' [Palin pushes back at TMZ 'disprespect' meme]
Politico ^ | Dec. 16, 2009 | Mike Allen

Posted on 12/16/2009 4:38:39 PM PST by Al B.

Declaring that she “was honored and proud to run with him,” former Alaska governor Sarah Palin pushed back hard Wednesday against a report that she had disrespected Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) by blacking out his name on a sun visor she wore on vacation.

The website TMZ accused Palin of “a frontal attack on Sen. John McCain” during a Hawaii vacation this week: “Sarah chose to wear a visor from her campaign -- a visor that was emblazoned with the former presidential candidate's name ... that is, until Palin redacted McCain's name with a black marker.”

But Palin said in a statement to POLITICO that she was just trying to “be incognito” -- to go unrecognized and shield her children and husband, Todd, from paparazzi.

The hotel where she was staying had to chase away five photographers, a friend said.

Palin said in the statement to POLITICO: “I am so sorry if people took this silly incident the wrong way. I adore John McCain, support him 100 percent and will do everything I can to support his reelection. As everyone knows, I was honored and proud to run with him. And Todd and I were with him in D.C. just a week ago. So much for trying to be incognito."

The Palins were taking a break from a three-and-a-half-week book tour for her million-copy-selling memoir, “Going Rogue: An American Life.” Palin has signed more than 59,000 books -- an average of 1,750 per stop -- and has traveled more than 19,000 miles by plane and bus. She has spent 115 hours -- or 4.8 days -- signing books in 33 cities in 25 states. Her stops have included five military bases.

Hey you think I’m happy that she supports McCain, I’m not, but what can ya do. He gave her a platform that she might never have had if she hadn’t run for Vice President. Its loyalty, and that has turned into support. I am glad that you were able to listen to the audio/video of Rusty Humphries, it was actually an excellent interview, except some in the media made a big deal because she said Obama’s birth certificate was fair game so she was labeled a “birther” by the libs in the press. As far as her views on amnesty, I do agree that it needs more clarification. She is against amnesty for illegals, but the interviewer didn’t do a good job in asking the question about her opinion about a pathway to citizenship(not sure if that is the same thing, just shows what I know about the matter LOL) hopefully down the road someone will ask her the question in the right way so she can answer it more clearly

Some here say that she came out too strongly in support of McCain?

Maybe. But why did she come out so strongly supporting McCain?

Well first it is consistent, and there is that gratitude and loyalty.

But that doesn’t explain the “strong” support, right?

The reason is she is in a war to the death with the Republican Establishment!! This is obvious to me, in her actions, what she says, and in the press (direct and indirect).

Palin cannot afford to lose the support of all the political class. We may not like it, but she has to have some of that support, and some moderate candidates will be part of party.

Why do you think the press keep goading McCain to diss her? It is important for the MSM and some republicans, as it will erode support for her in the Republican Party.

At this stage she needs McCain as much as he needs her.

She sure blew that response.

Yah, maybe "the kids had my Sharpies" would have been better.

Or maybe, "Your village just called" or even "The goat you rode in on, pal."

It’s going to be up to us voters in AZ..not Sarah Palin. We’ll take care of it.

I think she's going to be fine. I expect her to walk a pretty thin line with this one, not sure how it will play out. The McCain support is a minefield for her, but she's gotten herself back in the political game pretty fast, and I hope she continues well.

So far, from what I see, she's the best candidate we've got. It's a long time until she even declares.

Well, there you go. She also gave money to Hoffman's campaign.

I will wait and see if she in fact actively campaigns for McCain.

I can’t imagine why anyone would be surprised by Sarah’s 100% support for John McCain.

Ron Paul: Leave Iran Alone!

September 29, 2009 @ 9:29 pm In Foreign Policy, Ron Paul’s Video Updates |

In his latest video update, Ron Paul [1] exposes the latest pro-war propaganda and discusses how our current interventionist foreign policy benefits neither the American people nor our national security situation.

You can see why the Ron Paul lemmingswantto change the subject.

their cult leader supports Ahmadinejad with all his anti American, andti Israel propaganda.

Ron Paul would rather be hit with a Nuclear missile from Iran than to defend America

Votes to not condemn Ahmadinejad in congress.

When people like that trash Palin, I support her all the more. Ast least her son serves in the Army, defending this country.

My family have been in America since the 1620s and have fought for it for generations.

Some newbees spit on it.

Apparently Newt Gingrich is still popular with some and look at the liberal dummy he supported, and even after being called out on it, STILL made excuses and supported. Sarah endorsed Hoffman and what happened, she gets slammed for doing that..and when he lost, she got blamed for it, she is in between a rock and a hard place..damned if you do, damned if you don’t

LOL!

The press sure wants her destroyed. The marching orders went out after her first speech, and they just keep on trying.

That back stabbing Hannity still has Nichol Wallace on his show. After what that pig did to Palin in the campaign how can vannity still have her on?

I saw her tonight on Hannity’s show. I could not believe my eyes. He was talking to her and Sandra Smith I think her name is about the trillion dollar bill Obama signed. I just could not believe it, he would have her on after what she did to Sarah and how she screwed up the campaign Hannity can still have Nicolle on as a guest. I was stunned. Of all the people in the world to have on his show he brings that sack of nothing on

I think her support of Hoffman brought him a lot of attention, and a lot of other money, almost enough to win. Pretty good considering he was an unknown 3 weeks before the election.

Yep, all over a hat. No one mentions the awesome t-shirt she had on, but nope, had to bring up the hat, which wasn’t even a good looking hat, so of course the TMZ liberal freaks had to zoom in closer to see what kind of hat she was wearing and what it said. If the hat said “Kiss My Ass Obama” imagine the reaction from the media LOL. She can’t even spend time with her family without the damn media following her around. Can’t they leave her alone for 1 day

Yea...she’s between a rock and a hard place...hope she chooses the RIGHT place.

Hildy, she already chose the right place.

Can you imagine how petty and spiteful she would look had she said or felt anything else?

Sarah is GENUINE. She spoke from HER heart.

Palin was one of the first few to come out for Hoffman, it was only after some of the wannabees joined up and some didn’t even do that.
