When someone from my district visited our “blue dog” (that’s retiring), his spokesman was 100% convinced that nationalized healthcare would be a deficit saver, ie, would cost LESS money.
Does not reduce costs. Does not cover substantially more people. Does nothing to assure improved delivery of medical services (more than likely will make them worse). Does nothing to improve health care, costs, or peace of mind for any average Joe taxpayer types. I do not think it “solves†ANY of the concerns for which they set about to “fix the systemâ€. Their long-term goal is to destroy the current system such that it cannot be reconstructed, creating an irreversible dependence on the government welfare state for more and more people. It is about power and control, having sufficient control that there will be no turning back, soon. But the arrogance of the 0bama and kool-aid drinking Dems have allowed them to think they are doing something historic and wonderful. There has never been a greater divide between the will of the people and the actions of the government. Sadly, this is just one example of a long line we will experience over the coming months and years. (JMHO)
