As a former New York Times and Wall Street Journal correspondent, and as a New York Sun columnist who covered Islamic Fundamentalism extensively overseas and in the USA, I find the facts oddly lacking. The story as reported fails to answer, and avoid asking, so many pertinent questions.
The source of money matters as a significant part of the hundreds of mosques being built and already erected in this country double up as cultural Islamic centers for distributing literature— Islamist propaganda in fact—from Bay Ridge Brooklyn to Detroit, and for schooling growing Muslim minorities. They house Imams of unknown origin and education, many of whom do not speak a word of English but preach in Arabic and Urdu — radical messages, it often turns out.
As a reporter familiar with the Arab communities of the USA, I doubt the faithful fork out all that money for mega mosques, and if they did, the mayor’s office should prove it, not merely accept someone’s say so. It is an established fact that a significant percentage of the mosques built in the USA in the past two decades are receiving a disproportionate amount of their funds not only from the Saudis, but also the UAE, Qatar and Iran — all problematic Islamists activist nations. The government just discontinued work on a major Iranian-funded mosque and center in New York City, which had operated under the radar since the days of the good old Shah of Iran under the auspices of the Pahlavi Foundation, and has beenowned since 1979 by the Mullahs of Iran.
The context here is that 15 of the 19 perpetrators of the attacks — on the very site where this new mosque shall rise — came from Saudi Arabia.”

This news pretty much brings it all many steps forward from a C/T. It’s hard for me to believe now that something such as this wasn’t the initial plan and that the attacks were just the first strike at our heart.
You might be on to something. Wrapping the nukes in bacon would result in nice crispy bacon atoms covering the entire region. Excellent delivery system you just thought of.

Yeah, that’s going to work. Once the doors open the public has a ready place to protest, picket, etc. I repeat, yeah, that’s gonna work. Time to rethink your plans on this one, muslims.
That single act would utterly destroy Islam, since it would prove to current muslims that Allah is a false god. They would - if they persisted - have to pray to a proven false god and toward a stinky radioactive spot of glass - how humiliating for them!
The pig crap should be added after while still warm, since that would insure a lasting, odoriferous ‘baked-in’ effect, rather than vaporizing it during the glass making operation.
Why this is a good idea: since in Islam Allah determines every single act, thought, and molecular movement, Allah would be proven false, weak and utterly incompetent. No one would believe one word in the book formerly known as the koran.

And like the Dome of the Rock - built by a caliph whose court was bored and wanted to return to Amon, to ensure their support turned the hated site of the Temple into a lucrative tourist attraction complete with religious myth - that too will become a lucrative tourist attraction.
If they didn’t kill apostates there would be a mass exodus of the muslim faith.
There seems to be one some 14.5 miles out of town in Clinton, Ill.
I bet it wouldn’t take long for some imam somewhere to find an obscure passage in the Koran that would allow the site to be built, even if it is discovered that a pig farm was once located on that land. You know—sort of like how the Dems find all sorts of things in the U.S. Consitituon that aren’t there.
Or territory they expect soon to be theirs. I think they have been encouraged by Bambi's statement that the US is "one of the largest Muslim countries in the world" and think that it's only a matter of time, now.
