So creating new bubbles is the way to fix the old bubbles bursting?

I prevented the world from being overtaken by Martians last year. Honest I did. Trust me.

A rooster crows and makes the sun rise too.

How about the entire economic collapse was overblown to create 2008 election hysteria and the cash was used to pay off politically connected interests?

“Faux crisis.
Faux hero.
Faux news source.”

Well put. If I had a printing press in my basement that could print money, I could spend more than I made too. Until they caught me and put me in jail, that is.

Considering the source(Time)I'da thought they'd give it to the puppet-master himself...George Soros...instead of wasting such a "prestigious" award on a simple pee-on subordinate.

I suppose next they'll give the nobel peace prize to that other marionette, Obam....oh, never-mind.

TARP, in retrospect, was a necessary legislation, and some of the money is being returned.

I think people at times confuse TARP with Porkulus. Bernacke had nothing to do with Porkulus, in which none of the money will be returned, and most of it will be wasted without creating careers. The public will remember that Bush signed TARP, even though Obama has tried to take credit for it. A good move for Obama politically, since the sheeple don't know the difference between TARP and Porkulus, but a lie that won't stand up over time.

“WE PULLED IT BACK FROM THE BRINK!!”

If I hear that one more time I’ll barf.

Hopefully she will be inflamed to the point that a portion of her faux face will crack or seriously sag, or maybe her doll eyes will freeze open, or maybe just ONE of them will....I detest this woman and wish her the worst!

I'll bet the same guys who hand out sports trophies giving Tiger Woods the athlete of the decade and OHHHH BABY his Nobel are the same folks who perpetrated this atrocity. This must be a money maker for them. That's the only explanation....

The person of the year isn’t really an “award” though, it’s just a publicity stunt issue that identifies the most newsworthy person of the year. Bernanke is a tool who screwed us for trillions, but he shaped the news more than anyone else. It’s a legitimate pick, given the Time’s selection criteria.

It’s not like it’s a “Best Person of the Year Award”

Yeah, that’s the line Time uses when it selects someone contraversial, but 9 out of 10 times it is that year’s most popular “Progressive”.

I believe when Hitler won it, he was very very popular with the left in this country. His economic policies were considered visionary by the far left (including FDR) They only turned against him when he attacked the Soviet Union.

I don't know about that, but the Time piece in January 1939 was negative towards Hitler.
