Zombie Time : Why America Hates Universal Health Care: The Real Reason
Zombietime ^ | December 15, 2009 | Zombietime

I watch the debate over health care with amazement. A million words are spoken on the topic with every passing minute, and as far as I can tell no one has ever addressed the real issue that’s upsetting everyone.

So, rather than wait in vain for someone else to finally speak the honest truth about the single-payer system, I’ll just have to do it myself.

Americans hate universal health care because we don’t deserve it.

Because that’s what socialized medicine does: it turns each of us into a little fascist. A nagging nanny who tells other people what to do and how to live ... We call it “socialized medicine,” but in the end it pushes us toward fascism.

That's why Obama and Pelosi like socialized medicine. Calling them fascists is not just rhetoric, nor is it over the top. It is the precise term for those two socialists who don't care who "owns" private property, so long as they have absolute control over all property and all of our lives.

It’s worth clicking on the article. The pictures will have you laughing out loud. I know that’s not a very nice or PC thing to say but I laughed anyway.

Other than the fact that NO ONE is proposing a single payer health care plan ... I think he’s got a point.

“Why should we be forced to pay for the costs of other people’s irresponsibility?”

Ever hear of “public education”?

This country is so screwed, soooooooooo screwed.

The truly insane rule over us. That’s the only explanation I have for all that is happening. They have lost their minds.

They obviously cannot see it, but they are setting the stage for the deaths of millions of Americans. Reckless, short-sighted (blind), anti-life, malevolent, corrupt, etc.

It’s death-on-wheels with all the horrific trimmings.

It’s just a matter of time, I’m certain of it.

I was raised by my grandparents (WWII generation) so, in a way, I feel like I was born too late.

It seems everywhere I look there is something that makes me cringe and shake my head.

We’re in big trouble. Hard times ahead.

One thing I hate about grocery shopping is checking out behind a over-nurished person(s) with a cart stacked head high, while I have just enough groceries to cover the bottom of the basket. I bet most of these folks don't have a dime of health insurance.

Then we have a government and quite a bit of society that people can't be taught self-control or self-restraint. It is easier to put the blame on something else.

Blaming something else will never solve the problem.
Taking self responsibility does.It seems that somebody wants a class of people dependent on calories, alcohol, drugs, poor habits and so on. Those people at some point will be dependents of the government. The government will keep them around as long as they are useful.

Not yet.

But soon.

And for the rest of your life.

Obesity is a risk factor in type 2 diabetes.

Somebody who has access to Rush’s site should send him a link to this article. He would have a ball with it.

My parents and grandparents were unwilling to take anything they couldn't get on their own. They were very selective about favors and they wouldn't borrow anything unless it was absolutely necessary.

These days so so many are looking any angle to work the system. Such people have no stability or moral anchor. The government has become the same way. More and more the government is beginning to look like "The Party". It is not just "Lost Minds" that is so worrisome
