Sen. John Kerry's new fundraising letter seeks to make a bogeyman of Sarah Palin and the Tea Party movement and rally liberals for the 2010 midterm elections.
A new fundraising letter from Sen. John Kerry (D) of Massachusetts gives a strong hint about how Democrats may try to stir their base to action during the 2010 election season: scare them with the prospect of a Sarah Palin nation.
Think GOP obstruction is bad now? Senator Kerry asks in a fundraising letter sent out Tuesday morning by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Just imagine what Washington would look like if a bunch of new senators inspired by Sarah Palin and the tea party crowd took over.
In recent months, the political right has been energized by Ms. Palin, whose "Going Rogue" book tour has boosted her favorability rating, and by the Tea Party movement, which has channeled the anger of fiscal conservatives outraged by Obama administration spending. Together, they kindle the worst political fears among many liberals, summoning visions of gun-toting, Glenn Beck-watching, right-wing radicals.
With the Democratic caucus holding 60 seats in the Senate exactly the number needed to defeat a Republican filibuster Kerry suggested in his letter that "the loss of even one or two would flip crucial votes in their favor and doom President Obamas agenda.

Wasn’t John Kerry on CSPAN slapping down an expert giving a testimony contrary to Global Warming just before the emails were leaked out?
This should be another funny John Kerry moment when someone is able to get him to focus away from the tan-in-a-can so he can understand that the Tea Parties are comprised of people that don’t fit the media’s made-up image.
How does that guy get elected?

The RNC should use that first paragraph as fund raiser. Ah, Sarah and bunch of new Senators like here running around DC. I love that thought.

Dear Senator Kerry, et al;
I am surprised that you are so upset over Sarah Palin - author of "Going Rogue", and the "
tea party crowd. I'm looking around for that so-called "GOP Obstruction", and all I see is a democrat super-majority, which should not be obstructed by anything...anthing that is, except the America people upon whom the democrat party is trying to unload 100 years of socialist debt and mayhem.
Every American has the Constitutional right to
peaceful protest against the issues, , you should know that, right?
Unlike your crowd, none of the Tea Partys have had any arrests or violence, except by some democrat ACORN interlopers, and one lib who threw a tomato at Sarah Palin. Fortuneately, his aim was like your last campaign...way off.
As far as Sarah Palin goes...what is there to defeat? She is not running for anything. Do you want to "defeat" her book tour? Her speaking engagement? Or is it that you just want to SHUT HER UP. How "democratic" of you.
You were a sleaze ball back during Vietnam, and an opportunistic phoney, and you haven't changed a bit.
You and obama have a lot in common, a dream of dictatorship and total control of America. But, WE THE PEOPLE can protest just like you did in the 60's.
Sincerely, A tea partier who support Sarah Palin and America

I see nothing wrong with God fearing, gun-toting law abiding citizens exercising their constitutional rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Kerry correctly figured that Palen has shot way more weapons than that limp-wristed little frump ever did. Yeah and I bet she never killed a defenseless wounded enemy soldier by shooting him in the back like Kerry has.

especially during these heavy rain storms here in Biloxi.
They passed us by yesterday in Metairie, Louisiana water came from the street and about 2 feet into my yard which is unusual (maybe some of the water was from the melting ice cap according to Gore /s. Grew up in Gulfport - still miss it although it has changed a great deal since I left home.

I supposedly have broadband, but you couldnt prove it by me, especially during these heavy rain storms here in Biloxi ROTFL!! Reminds me when there's "inclement" weather and our satellite reception goes bonkers, everything explodes into pixels. Darn, I thought those satelites were ABOVE the activity! Meanwhile, my neighbor on cable just keeps on cruisin' getting all the weather alerts and everything...

‘It would be best for her to be VP for 2 terms, then run for Pres, giving her 16 years to clean out the elitists in DC’.
Given Sarah’s comment about the ‘view enjoyed by the second sled dog’ I believe she would, politely of course, decline any offer of a VP role. Its top dog or pass.
I entirely agree that the role she plays in the 2010 mid terms is crucial both for her future ambitions and for Conservatives in general.
