I believe there is no hearsay evidence rule regarding Grand Juries simply because there is no defense attorney present to raise the concern.
Regardless, this is nothing but harassment. Uust like with the Global Hoax e mails being purloined and with those in support of the hoax desiring to find out and prosecute who it was that obtained the evidence.
In case anyone has not noticed, the government has become the enemy of freedom in the US, almost completely totalitarian. How much farther can they push before there is a rebellion? I don’t know but I think I see where this is going and it is not a happy ending.

It's unclear from the article if this is a New York State grand jury or a federal grand jury sitting in New York. Federal law permits grand juries to receive, and act on, hearsay evidence; New York State law does not.
