Swine Flu is as big a flop as when Gerald Ford was President.

Unbelievable hype, fret and worry.

Sorry for those who died as a result of it, but they were mostly afflicted with other maladies.

My sister in-law did NOT have any underlying conditions. Be thankful that no one in your family had to be hospitalized for it.

I am not on the government’s side on this, by any means.

But I just want to tell you that this flu is not just any flu.

I had it all last week. It started on Sunday with the chills, fever, and cough. BOOM. Fevers crept up, every inch of me was in pain, I had trouble breathing. I am fit and healthy and it knocked me off my socks. 102 fevers. On Thursday I could not breathe right, felt I was “dying” or losing consciousness. They took me to the doctor and he put me on a heavy antibiotic, which saved me.

The chest X ray showed pneumonia in my left lung. I am now feeling human again but weak and of course coughing. I never smoked a day in my life. No history of anything.

This flu is really serious even for healthy people. Don’t kid yourself. It is not all [bleeping] hype.

Rush said that several times while I lay semi-coherent listening to him, and I so wanted to let him know that he would NOT enjoy how sick this flu can pretty much instantly make you.
