To: I cannot think of a name

The original pins are cast iron, and brittle. Got my steel replacement here:

Thanks for the tip.

I don’t really know what had been done to the firing pin before I bought the pistol, but I know the second firing pin (the one I installed) was not dry fired - and also broke in less than 100 rounds.

I had a suspicion is was probably something to do with the metal used.

No way. They used CAST IRON for a firing pin? [facepalm]
