I’m confused. Where did I post that women have served in “combat roles”? Seems to me what I stated is that women have been in/on the front lines - not exactly the same as claiming they were there as part of a military combat unit.

The first post was #13 “ Regardless of whether women had arms or were just providing medical treatment to the wounded on the front lines, woman have been “in combat” in most modern wars.”

Women have been in the military for all of our wars in various capacities. Until recently their roles were limited to support roles and were far from combat. Today they are riding Humvees into combat.
