I’m not one who wishes Obama’s numbers to sink to failure numbers. I don’t want to give any other Dems a reason to have hope and entertain ideas of running in 2012.

I hope he stays just above viability, and allow his massive ego to take over in 2012, giving any opponents pause.

44% is an F on any grading scale I have ever seen. If you graded on a generous curve and made 53% an A then possibly 44% could be a B- or C+.

A crisis won't help a liberal like it does a conservative, because it is the REACTION to the crisis which generates the rally.

Obama always votes present, no crisis will help him. In fact it might actually hurt him because people would be expecting a quick direct reaction... and he would be sitting around for months trying to figure out how to vote present.
