I heard Michael Scheuer saying the other night that there's no way OBL is dead because everybody would know if he was. He said hiding that fact would be like trying to hide the death of the President of the United States.

He didn't elaborate on the absurd comparison or explain how the most visible world leader on the planet is the equivalent of a cave-dwelling terrorist who used to put out a video every year or so. He came across as rambling and slightly insane.

I watched the interview and he sounded contrived, coached and a little testy and jet lagged. He used all the buzzwords and phraseology like ..”Let me be clear”. He has real problems, systemic ones in his Presidency. The double dip is coming, as is a second real estate bubble, rising gas prices, etc. People are becoming sick of the platitudes, cliches and having this fraud rammed down our throats by Hollywood and the MSM. He is becoming a punchline and increasingly irrelevant. He is dumb as a stump also, Clinton I was respected his political acumen, this guy is a dumbbell and an amateur.

I only wish it were so but congress stalling will only represent the day the hole we are in is not dug deeper than it already is. From that day the real work of rebuilding starts.

Rebuilding is a joyless thing to me because it should have been unnecessary. It is like having to backtrack 100 miles for a left camera that may be stolen already, the relief of finding it still there but still having to drive that same 100 miles again. The result of course is that the day’s trek should have ended hours ago.
