If the party moderates manage to give us Romney, I will not vote for him even if it means another Obama term. Seriously. Romney turns my stomach. He epitomizes everything that’s wrong with the go along to get along wing of the Republican Party.

Party insiders? Nominate Romney at your own risk. I’m a long-term Republican who will literally walk away from the party over this RINO crap. I bet I’m not alone.

I’ve already walked away, they will have to earn my trust to come back. I’m a Conservative first, I don’t even consider myself a Republican because of the GOP’s behavior. This has nothing to do with Sarah Palin, that is only a small part of the reason why I’m done with the GOP, its everything, they don’t even stand up against Obama, its like pulling teeth with them, its either fear or stupidity or both, but I’m sick of it and I’m sick of their elitist ways. They think we are a bunch of dummies, that’s fine, we will show them and we will have the last laugh. Just look at the tea party movement, the tea party candidates are making gains in the polls, that outta wake the GOP establishment up, but it might not

That is what the Democrats are hoping. If Romeny is the candidate, they will be pleased that you will stay home!

Seriously, we root for the uber libs to stay home for the elections and will laugh at them if they do.

But parity is a bitch. We pick our candidate and back them, whether its Palin or Romney. Divided and conquered should not be our goal.

Agreed. Romney, or any similarly insipid hack as nominee will mean the end of the GOP. Obama would win with a plurality, some third party candidate would be 5 - 7 points behind Obama, and the third place GOP would implode.

No one would mourn the loss of the GOP, and Obama would catch more hell than any 2nd term president in history.

Same here. I will not vote for another Rino. If the Democrats control the government forever, let it be under their own names.

You're not alone. I always swore I would never vote for McCain, but Sarah made me do it.
