But that statement is an unsupportable assertion. It represents specious reasoning.
I would challenge the statement that an overwhelming majority of climate scientists believe in AGW. How many scientists from that group would remain in the group if you removed those scientists with a vested interest in AGW?
The next question would be on what scientific basis do they claim that mankind is causing global warming? It is true that carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas. Given that it is a trace gas, it is overwhelmed by water vapor by many orders of magnitude. Carbon dioxide has no measurable impact on our climate or weather. There is no man made global warming; only man made climate change on computers using artificial data.
Please address the substance of the issue instead of supporting the warmers. Otherwise you sound shrill and hysterical.
“Did this editorial mention the fact that Algore thinks the temperature of the inner earth is millions of degrees?”
I have read that few of the “scientists” who have signed on to this crap are actually “climate scientists,” and that few actual climate scientists subscribe to this nonsense.
“However, as the work of McIntyre, McKitrick, Wegman, Carter and others has spread, scientific consensus in recent years has begun collapsing. A detailed review of 539 technical papers about climate change published between 2004 and 2007 found no evidence none —supporting specific catastrophic climate change due to man. In March 2009, a petition signed by over 31,000 scientists stated in part: There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate.”

There is a clear attempt to establish truth not by scientific methods but by perpetual repetition.
