There is no evidence of carbon dioxide being a poison, or that it is capable of causing a warming Armageddon. What follows is a summary of the proof — straight from real science, peer-reviewed over the past 232 years by legions of physicists, thanks to Newton’s Principia.
Remember the famous picture of Miss Marilyn Monroe with her skirt blown high? Even at the age of 76, when I see this picture my temperature goes up — followed by the amount of carbon dioxide I exhale. Never the other way ’round. Now, thanks to the study of a series of ice cores, this appears to be an inconvenient truth for the global warming industry.
Al Gore used this ice core data to claim that carbon dioxide made the temperature of the world rise, threatening life on earth, because there was a correlation between atmospheric CO2 levels and the world’s average temperature. Yet the data from the much-celebrated Vostok ice cores paints a very different picture: Up goes the temperature, followed by a rise in carbon dioxide.
Effectively flattening Gore’s dreams of hedging his funds.

Thanks for another excellent article. I’ve been bookmarking AGW articles for the last 4 years, too many to count such as this article dispelling the marxist fraud.
ALL ice core data has proven that CO2 lags temps by 800 or more years. Only one hack (Steig) has been claiming the opposite and his previous research has been proven a lie just like the CRU`s data.
Temps drive CO2, not the other way around as algore and the Gaia totalitarians try to preach.

What does the lag of CO2 behind temperature in ice cores tell us about global warming?
This is an issue that is often misunderstood in the public sphere and media, so it is worth spending some time to explain it and clarify it. At least three careful ice core studies have shown that CO2 starts to rise about 800 years (600-1000 years) after Antarctic temperature during glacial terminations. These terminations are pronounced warming periods that mark the ends of the ice ages that happen every 100,000 years or so.Does this prove that CO2 doesn’t cause global warming? The answer is no.
The reason has to do with the fact that the warmings take about 5000 years to be complete. The lag is only 800 years. All that the lag shows is that CO2 did not cause the first 800 years of warming, out of the 5000 year trend. The other 4200 years of warming could in fact have been caused by CO2, as far as we can tell from this ice core data.
The 4200 years of warming make up about 5/6 of the total warming. So CO2 could have caused the last 5/6 of the warming, but could not have caused the first 1/6 of the warming.

Bellamy is one of few scientists that looked, leapt, then looked again and made a decision based on the facts of the scientific method to arrive as his conclusions about man-made global warming. If anyone has credibility in this arena, it is certainly this man. Fortunately, as a scientist, in this case, an “I voted for it before I voted against it”, is proper, undeniably correct, and commended.

Dictatorial regimes like Obama's only respect one thing, and they haven't seen a peep of it yet. They'll continue to dismantle the fundamental underpinnings of our constitutional republic and our freedoms until they're actually STOPPED.
Our next chance to stop ‘em nationally will be November ‘10.
We could stop them tomorrow, if most of us picked up a pitchfork and headed to DC right now.
At the rate the Dems in Congress are going, they'll have outlawed the Constitution and the Bill of Rights by November 2010.
