The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -16. Thats the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President (see trends).
The 25% who Strongly Approve matches the lowest level of enthusiasm yet recorded. Thats partly the result of declining enthusiasm among Democrats. While Democrats continue to offer their approval, just 43% Strongly Approve.
Among all voters, 36% now believe that the president is doing a good or an excellent job handling the economy while 45% rate his performance in this area as poor. Seventy-one percent (71%) of Democrats say hes doing a good or excellent job on the economy while 74% of Republicans say poor. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 52% give the President poor marks when it comes to the economy.
On national security matters, 39% rate the presidents performance as good or excellent while 36% say poor. Most voters nationwide lack confidence that NATO will do its part to help in Afghanistan. The Presidents new plan for Afghanistan draws mixed reviews from voters.

Come on -20 +++.
He might (hopefully) hit -20 even sooner. A lot of people are going to have a very sad and miserable Christmas.
Still waiting for his “Reichstag”
There is no way things will remain as they are for very much longer. They won’t sit idly by and wait defeat in the next elections.
Or, they could just force commie medicine down our gullets before Christmas.
Either way, it will spell the end of the US as we have known it.
I don’t believe today’s Americans have any fight in them to stop it.
If this was a boxing match:
The Kenyan has Uncle Sam on the ropes, a right, a left.
Ohh, the Kenyan hits US under the belt! US is down... the kenyan kicks him in the head! The ref is not even looking.
US is bleeding, the Kenyan is forced to his conrner. US is getting the standing 8 count...

I *approve* of the Obamanation’s poor performance if it can cause a strong enough counter-effort to sweep the socialists out of power for a generation and more. The question is how much more damage our nation will have to endure and whether a turn-around will come soon enough or at all.
Recession of 1991/1992.
Do you really think that what he and the Dhimmi congress have done can be readily undone?
It would be easier to untangle a thousand birds’ nests.
I suppose it can be done but it will take an amazing change in the makeup of the House and Senate next year and extraordinary dedication and pressure on the part of the voting public. Remember, anything a new, conservative-leaning congress does will be subject to a presidential veto. Getting 67 pubbie senators will be impossible next time around, so some Dems would have to get on board to override the prez.
Obviously doesn’t matter what the majority of Americans think. They are completing their agenda.

LOL. Love it.

no I don’t and that’s why I said “IF”
this is all a disaster and these kinds of socialist programs simply don’t get overturned -— too many interests end up entrenched in them......
That’s why we need to wear ourselves out and stop the socialism NOW!
People are getting tired of it and we all know what short attention spans Americans have but we have to demonstrate perseverance on this. The Dems sure are - they are busily working every weekend looking for ever more creative ways to screw us over with Obamacare while we are watching football.
LOL! See as Rush often says (and I find it annoying) - I told you so. ;-) Man that was quick and welcome.
As I said the other night - Christmas is coming and reality is going to be hitting a lot of people very hard.
Very sad but many voted for this. I think things are sinking in due to Christmas.
God - I wish we had Steven Harper as President.
Norman, the way the poll was explained in the article was 25% of the 40% were republicicans, 10% were independents and 5% were democrats. It was a breakdown of the parts of the whole.
25% + 10% + 5% = 40%, not 25% of those polled but the 25% was the breakdown.
Perhaps but that doesn’t make sense to me. Why say it that way? It’s far too confusing.
“Perhaps but that doesnt make sense to me. Why say it that way? Its far too confusing.”
I agree it is somewhat confusing, but it does indicate the breakdown of the 40%.
