I don’t understand what you mean. I understand the belief that the earth is millions of years old. I don’t share the belief that the earth is millions of years old. Otherwise I wouldn’t be YEC.
I believe that God created the earth with one continent about 6000 years ago. The Deluge of Noah’s day was responsible for reshaping the earth’s surface. It was an extremely violent and extended flood.
I also believe that it is responsible for laying down the fossils and the rock strata, carving out the Grand Canyon and many other things that “old earthers” (for lack of a better term) say took millions of years. Did that answer your question or did I misunderstand the question?
I am going to frame this, and hang it on the wall in my shop.
It stands alone, and has no need for further comment.
thank you.

wow!!!
No, I understand your beliefs and I do respect them, however, as a homeschooler teaching your children that begining, I wonder what they will think about you as they get older and out on their own. Main stream beliefs will test them as they get older. Now, if they are gonna be Amish and farm and not interact with the rest of the world I guess they will be OK. But, if you are gonna send them out in the world, prepare them to get laughed at, and hope theire faith is strong enough to withstand it.
I'd be willing to believe that too if it's really there in the Scriptures, and I'd sure love to explore it if anyone else is. Some how Genesis taken word by word on its own makes a lot more sense than what so many others like to say is in there.
