Thank you at last sanity on the thread. Toxins require 4 components and not just one: 1) Toxicity - or the harmfullness that it can cause. 2) Dosage - the amount to which one is exposed. 3)Duration - the length and number of times of exposure. And 4) An entry way into the body.

For example: Lead is not harmful outside of the body, used the material all the time to make things. Don’t ingest it though. However, naturally occurring/unconcentrated dosages that do not have routine reoccuring exposures aren’t harmful.

Example 2: Cyanide (derived from almonds) very toxic minimal dosage is lethal. Duration doesn’t come in to play.

Example 3: Carbon Monoxide - deadly in high concentration and exposure, not deadly in naturally occuring amounts - it’s in the air we breath

Example 4: Milk - Cow’s milk was shown to be carcinogenic in the 70’s or 80’s in mice. Provided they forcefed the mice a gallon a day for a month. DOSAGE and DURATION.

Finally there are some poisons that one can build up a tolerance to by taking very small portions and building up resistance and higher dosages over time. I wouldn’t recommend it, but .... the body is an amazing thing.

You mostly need flouride when you are younger. That’s why you get flouride treatments as a kid between age 6 and 12, and not as an adult.

Its necessary to floruidate water forever because there are always new kids getting born. Its not like it changes genetics and makes kids be born with super teeth.

But, there’s no guarantee that the new children are going to drink the fluoridated water. Not everyone drinks tap water.

Plus, pediatricians prescribe supplements for young children that include fluoride, so the children could receive it that way. There’s also fluoride toothpaste and, as you mentioned, fluoride treatments at the dentist’s office. And fluoridated water is sold at the grocery stores. There are so many options.

Plus, if only children need it, then it’s not necessary to put it into the water supply for everyone to drink.

For the record, I’m not saying that fluoride is good or bad. I use it myself. It should be a matter of personal choice, imho.

Yes. Fluoride is a neurotoxin and was never meant for ingestion. The politics of fluoridation had more to do with disposal of Alcoa’s waste products than health benefits.

My GUESS is SOMEBODY’s relative in Trenton has a FLOURIDE company.

It actually started with Pittsburgh. Alcoa provided fluoride to the plants in NJ for weapons production. The mountains of fluoride required disposal and with a partnership with CalTech came up with idea to fluoridate water. During that period there were air inversions in Donora, PA (location of the ALCOA facility) that caused mass casualties. The deaths were ultimately blamed on flouride.

Very interesting. I know they sent a letter around saying the town was adding more fluoride but I don’t think they mentioned Chloramine. I use some additive if I have to use hose water but I don’t know what it is. My koi dealer suggested something & I went with that. Since I changed to a very heavy duty liner things have been better too. Some of those koi I lost were so big. We raised them from babies & we could hand feed them.
