Breitbart launching journalism site - Big Journalism

Online conservative media mogul Andrew Breitbart announced Thursday that he is launching a new website in January designed to report its own original journalism and take on “the Democratic-media complex.”

The site – to be called Big Journalism – builds on the “Big” brand Breitbart launched in September with Big Hollywood and Big Government. Both sites have made waves with stories exposing past controversial remarks by Obama administration officials and by featuring a series of videos of ACORN officials inappropriately offering advice to two conservative activists dressed up as a pimp and prostitute. He also helps edit the Drudge Report and runs the news aggregator Breitbart.com.

Breitbart made the announcement in an interview with Mediate, telling the website covering media-related news that Big Journalism will be “the go-to site for solidly backed-up stories, sharp points of view, and really great writing.”

Good job A.B. You’ve come a long way from working for Drudge.

If he has a forum, I hope I can beat my rookie 30,000-and-something registration number.

Can’t wait until he launches into cable. I dream of seeing in your face reporters cracking cases with reeling, stupid libs going down like bowling pins after a strike.

For me Big Hollywood is unreadable because it is too full of advertising and intrusive things like the “add this” popups placed a fraction of an inch away from where the “more” button usually is.

What really drove me away was that slow scrolling twitter thing on the right of the page, I found that so distracting that I gave up on the site.

Excellent. The more - the merrier!
If the MSM won't report, the citizens will just have to replace them.

Does anybody have a problem, with Breitbart’s site, the way I do? I get their text in a narrow strip less than an inch wide, which makes reading their text impossible. Does the webmaster know what he/she’s doing?

I just sent them a note on Breitbart.com suggesting that they should create a BIGEDUCATION web site next.

...they should create a BIGEDUCATION web site next.

It's already in the works.

“With Big Education, my goal is to explain to parents why their son or daughter came home from their freshman year at college for Thanksgiving and refuses to eat turkey because the holiday is colonialist and patriarchal in history, and why they’re suddenly shoving Howard Zinn’s People’s History down their throat. God help those $50K-a-year-tuition paying parents come Christmastime.”
