Dear xxxx,
On Tuesday, we wrote to you about the vote the U.S. Senate was taking on the Nelson-Hatch amendment to the health care reform bill. As you will remember, this amendment was virtually identical to Stuapk-Pitts ban and would have prevented women from using their own money to purchase private health insurance that provides comprehensive reproductive health care. The good news is that the amendment was defeated by a vote of 54-45. The great news is that both Senators Warner (D-VA) and Webb (D-VA) voted against this egregious assault on women's reproductive health care.
While we still have a battle ahead of us to get health care reform passed, this is a significant victory for women!
Action: Please take a moment to call your Senators to thank them for standing up for women's health care!
Sen. Mark Warner: (202) 224-2023
Sen. Jim Webb: (202) 224-4024
If you are able to call the Senators, please let us know by sending us an email to ppav@ppfa.org.

Oh, yeah. Jim Webb, that Reagan appointed “consetvative” Democrat. Slime.
A reminder that we have more work in politically cleansing Virginia.
Sacrificing more babies on the altar of political correctness must continue. Otherwise Lord Satan might not shine his unholy face on us!
Bastards.
OK, agreed - but WHERE THE HELL is the VA Republican party in ensuring that the citizens in VA KNOW that Warner and Webb can NEVER be allowed to portray themselves as freakin’ moderates again! This puts paid to ANY “moderate” in front of their names and the Stoopid Party needs to get in front of this! It’s damned frustrating to see the SP squander great opportunties....sheesh!
Liberal Jim Webb is still bitter over his defeat at the hands of conservative Oliver North in their legendary boxing match at the US Naval Academy. He got pummeled fair and square.
I am currently a visitor here in SW Virginia. The many good folks of this state don’t deserve their trash Rat senator reps in DC. That’s a travesty.
