LOL!! I LOVE latkes aka potato pancakes!
It doesn’t work for everything, but a rule of thumb is to move the decimal over one place from 1968 to 2009 for prices on commodity items. Coffee was a dime then (a nickel when used to induce people into coming in and buying other stuff.) It was also when cups of coffee were about a third the size they are now.
I know the fear word of the 2000s: McSushi
The MCD nearest me is always packed for breakfast; local owner nice guy; restaurant is clean and workers are friendly. Only time things ever get disorganized there is on a holiday when substitute employees are working.
I”m surprised that the regional people haven’t came down on the franchisee to clean up the places.
I REVEL in being “unhip”.
Being “hip” means being worldly.
There are several admonishments about this... just a few here:
James 4:4
Do you not know that being the world’s friend is being God’s enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his stand as an enemy of God.
1 John 2:16
For everything in the worldthe cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and doescomes not from the Father but from the world.
John 15:19
“If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but (A)I chose you out of the world, (B)because of this the world hates you.
You really should call their headquarters to complain. There’s no excuse for that.
I had the Sausage Mc Muffin and the Sr. Coffee this morning! $1.56. Been getting it for a couple of years.
Problem with most Fastfood is the calorie count. But if you eat it in moderation its ok.
The only decent thing on McD’s menu is their Iced Cafe Latte.
Where are you located!
A sausage burrito? Sounds more like a bowelburger au jus!
They really are hit or miss. No in-between.
You’d have to pay ME to eat most of those breakfast items these guys or anyone else sells. I do love the McD Big Breakfast though. The eggs and hash browns usually are done quite well.
Ya gotta admit...that's a lot of food for a buck.
The largest association of Burger King franchisees are suing the company over the one dollar double cheeseburger. The franchisees claim they are losing too much on it. The Burger King company says it is supposed to be a loss leader. However, the association claims the customers are not buying enough to make up the difference.
Greedy Corporate America, feeding the homeless.
Coffee, other beverages and potato products are their profit items. Some burgers and special menu items are often sold at or near cost. There’s a good reason order-takers are trained to say “You want fries with that?”
I believe that’s the listing of the new dollar menu.
In other words, you don’t get all that for a buck. You can get any of those items for a buck each.
