There is something very suspicious about this; the Atlantic is where Andrew Sullivan works, and he is the author of particularly nasty articles about both Trig Palin and his mother, Governor Sarah Palin.
Inotherwords, the Atlantic has a known track record of bitter misogyny, of utterly DESPISING Sarah Palin.
So I am very curious that the Atlantic would ever do such a poll, much less publish the results.
Was it a fake poll?
What is their REAL intent? What is going on? This does not make any sense.
It wasn’t the Atlantic’s poll- it was conducted by the PPP, which is a Democratic-Party affiliated polling firm. Why would they publish the results? Two reasons I can think of:
1) polling firms earn credibility by reporting their findings, whether favorable to the firm’s patrons or not.
2) a lot of Democrats are tired of Obama’s tinkering with the economy. They want a full-blown New Deal II. They think it would cause Obama’s popularity to soar. No, I am not joking.
