I don’t know how this will end up, but it strikes me Pakistan may have just done more than our own security teams have been able to do.
Good for them, as long as it is proven these were definitely problematic individuals.
My wife and I know a Pakistani here in our area, and the guy is a good man. He goes to Pakistan from time to time to see family. I believe his daughter held a marriage reception or perhaps even a wedding there a few years back.
Therein lies the problem. If it can’t be proved beyond a reasonable doubt that they engaged in illegal activity then we will just have to bring them back to the US and let them go.
