Afghanistan: Poland Should Remain Until the End Rzeczpospolita, Poland

Continuing with our coverage of NATO reaction to President Obamas Afghanistan troop surge, this article from Polands Rceczpospolita demonstrates more determination to continue to assist the United States than weve seen from newspapers in any other U.S. ally barring, perhaps, Great Britain.
But along with a staunch statement in support for the Alliance, the article also contains a warning to all of Americas friends.
For Rzeczpospolita, Piotr Gillert writes on part:
As stated by the president, America cannot allow this war to carry on for years on end, because it threatens to hollow out her all-volunteer army, but also because the countrys already-cavernous budget hole could become bigger. The U.S. simply cannot afford it. And this might be the most important message of Obamas speech for Americas allies as well as for the United States.
In the name of the unity of the alliance on which our security depends, weve participated in the Afghan mission from the beginning. If we still believe in the strength of NATO, we should remain until the end.

Poland Rceczpospolita Original Article (Polish)
Barack Obamas speech was much more than just an announcement of his decision to send more troops to Afghanistan. It put a timeframe on and made an evaluation of the NATO mission.
And this after Obama sold them out on the missile shield.
You know, we have a good tradition of respecting our alliances.
And that’s probably why we’ve been getting our a***s kicked throughout the history.
God Bless our Polish allies, we are forever grateful.
Lots of respect to your Polish allies.
On that missile shield deal... Obamanard wont be in office forever. Once we get shed of that neo-marxist and his useful idiots, things can get back to functional for a decade or few.
In our defense, we didn’t invent communism. I blame France. Donno why, just don’t like em.
Paris Commune perhaps?
