Hacked e-mails from top environmental researchers, which appear to question whether humans influence climate, have been misunderstood, former Vice President Al Gore said Wednesday. "The climate deniers tried to create the impression that that's what was in those stolen e-mails, but when you put them in context, it's clear that's not what [scientists] were doing, " Gore said on CNN's "American Morning."

Keep talking, Al. It feels good.
Yeah, like Richard Nixon was “misunderstood” for Watergate, or Bill Clinton was “misunderstood” after Monica pulled out the blue dress...gotcha.
Just more of AlGore peeing on our legs and telling us it is raining.
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha . . . . . . . who says Al "the stick" Gore doesn't have a sense of humor????
GASBAG AL!
Everyone in the world of scientific research uses the word "tricks" when talking about calculating their data. Everyone, I am told.
I remember fondly my high school chemistry class where we were taught all about "tricks" in calculating data from experiments. Yeah, that's it.
Hey! Give Al a break. He is a former Senator so we KNOW he never reads anything before he comments on it.
>Just more of AlGore peeing on our legs and telling us it is raining.
Don’t you mean Al Gore peeing off the top of a building and telling us that the “hot rain” is proof of global warming?
...ManBearPig.
Don’t believe your lying eyes!
First rule in the playbook: attack the accuser.
Oops, no accuser here. Just their own words.
Second rule in the playbook: claim the statement is taken out of context.
Funny how Gore is all over the MSM the last 2 days when there has been zero coverage of Climategate for over 2 weeks.
GASBAG AL!
It’s all Gore has left,”it’s just a misunderstanding”.
Shut up you idiot. What’s to be misunderstood about suppressing opinions different than your own, or conspiring to avoid a freedom of information request? Besides, the emails aren’t nearly as damning as is what’s in the computer code and what becomes evident when reworking the data.
Just like the Oval Office meetings he supposedly missed, Al must have had too much lemonade and so was in the bathroom when they were handing out integrity.
Al Gore could become world’s first carbon billionaire
Last year Mr Gores venture capital firm loaned a small California firm $75m to develop energy-saving technology.
The company, Silver Spring Networks, produces hardware and software to make the electricity grid more efficient.
The deal appeared to pay off in a big way last week, when the Energy Department announced $3.4 billion in smart grid grants, the New York Times reports. Of the total, more than $560 million went to utilities with which Silver Spring has contracts.
The move means that venture capital company Kleiner Perkins and its partners, including Mr Gore, could recoup their investment many times over in coming years.
