The Minnesota Department of Human Services has distributed nearly $11 million of federal funds to 31 state organizations that help individuals, families and unaccompanied youth find and stay in affordable housing, the department said Tuesday.
Minnesota received $23.5 million of the $1.5 billion Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program money authorized under the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. More than half of the funds will go directly to certain cities and counties in the state to prevent or address homelessness.

$11 million of federal funds to 31 state organizations that help individuals, families and unaccompanied youth find and stay in affordable housing To insult us even more, they play with the language. Affordable housing is housing people can afford, not housing which costs $11 million in Federal funds.

Exactly -- and they'd close the whole gefarhliches thing DOWN!
Cheers!

Yes they can afford the rent, but then they won’t have enough money to eat properly and alot of them are single mothers and families with children on low incomes, this is how humans show compassion.

Housing and helping the poor is noble and righteous thing to do................for the local communities and state entities to fund and control
The federal gov has no business picking my pocket to help these people

and WHY are they ‘single mothers’ with ‘children’?
BECAUSE SOMEBODY HAS SYSTEMATICALLY DESTROYED THE INSTITUTION OF MARRIAGE IN THIS COUNTRY !!!

Forced Compassion. Like a armed robbery. Some day soon they will run out of other peoples money - then what.
To: KSCITYBOY
I’m betting the money will be delivered in fancy envelopes
with the O’s personal logo so the recipients will know who
they’re beholding to.
