I don't think these thugs are looking for what you and I think of as "respect". Their concept of respect is limited to causing fear in their perceived enemies. Unless you've known some of these personalities, you cannot understand how depraved they are. I'm talking worthless - beyond redemption.
That being said, it took dedicated leftists a lot of hard work, and decades to produce this monster class of "humans".
There is the point. I'm sure that you've encountered many who held this mindset while you were in the military. I know I did, especially during the late 70's and early 80's.
