I hear you, but I was on a military base, in a heavily populated, heavily traveled area with one barracks with three stories of windows on one side 20 yards to my left, and another just like it 20 yards to my right.

I don’t think I could have felt safer anywhere else on earth at the time.

The victim in the video says the punch came out of nowhere, but the reporter says the victim said he did notice that the guy followed him in. The victim isn’t looking at the guy, but in the video you can clearly see that he’s gearing up to do something.
