Iran has accused the US of abducting one of its nuclear scientists who has been missing since June.
Shahram Amiri disappeared in Saudi Arabia while on a Muslim pilgrimage.

Ha! Unless it’s a rogue cell in our intelligence community, I highly doubt it’s the US! Not with Obama-in-chief calling the shots. Now, Mossad — yeah, this sounds a LOT like them! And the fact is, the Saudi’s would probably even cooperate with the Israeli’s (under the table, of course) if it slowed Iran down. The Saudi’s fear Iran FAR more than they do Israel...
He could well have defected for obvious reasons and prefer to simply “disappear” to minimze risk to relatives left behind. Either US or Israel or both would be debriefing him, along with the Saudis who, as others have noted, are not happy about the Persian/Shiite resurgence.
Whoever is involved can afford to let the Iranian squeal all they want. Given the Persian mullahs’ nuclear ambitions, stripping them of competent technical personnel is worth the trouble where possible.

There are at least two emails concerning him that passed through Hillary’s private server.
The question is, was he betrayed by the US? The State Dept announced he had “taken refuge” in the Pakistani embassy in DC which also host’s the Iranian interests section for Iran.
They imply he was there of his own free will but there is no proof of that.
Could be he was traded deliberately or given up as a “gift” to help curry favor with Iran.
