Senate Defeats Nelson Amendment to Stop Abortion Funding in Health Care

They want women to abort so the Islamist (who try to have as many as possible) do not. They will take over by sheer numbers. IMHO

The Pope needs to issue an Edict staring plainly that any politician or group who supports this bill is excommunicated, and he needs to do it tomorrow morning.

Well, if this truly unites any prolife Dems with the rest of us who oppose this pile of crap, then in a roundabout way it’s a good thing, IMHO.

Nelson was unable to get enough Democrats to join him in supporting the amendment while two Republicans, pro-abortion Maine Sens. Olympia Snow and Susan Collins, sided with abortion advocates against the amendment

You can always count on those murder-it Republicans.

We shall soon see whether Senator Nelson is a “Profile in Courage” or just another Democrat lock-stepper. The Pubbies better stop whimping, weeping and hiding in the corner and get to doing everything they can to kill this horrible bill. And....Mitch McConnell best get some backbone, cause we ain’t seen nothing but whiners and whimps and RINOs from the GOP so far. KILL THE BILL!!!!

Nelson is just trying to cover his own base(s). The pubbies who keep electing him to office require that he feign pro-life leanings. Of course, he will vote FOR cloture, and FOR the health care bill, thus throwing the baby out with the bath water.

Does it matter? The stinking dems are going to cram this communist bill through no matter what. There is no one stopping them. There is no civil way to stop them.

You, me and all taxpayers are going to fund the killing of innocent children.

“Democrats who voted no and opposed Boxer’s motion to kill the Nelson amendment included
Sens. Casey
David Pryor of Arkansas
Byron Dorgan and Kent Conrad of North Dakota
Edward Kaufman of Delaware
Evan Bayh of Indiana.
Nelson of Neb.

... Nelson (but not Casey) has said he would filibuster the bill because of the abortion funding it contains.”

One day we will have to give an accounting for the blood of the "least among us," who we so callously tossed aside, ripped to shreds, in the name of "women's rights."

Today, on the basis of this vote, the following states have NO voice in the senate to protect the rights of the unborn.

California
Colorado
Connecticut
Hawaii
Illinois
Maine ---- two R's with no heart!
Massachusettes
Michigan
Minnesota
Montana ---- how sad!
New Jersey
New Mexico
New York
Oregon
Rhode Island
Vermont
Washington
Wisconsin

And for the record ... Landreau and Lieberman are not "moderate." Neither have a problem with the killing of unborn babies.
