NEVER, EVER trust or believe a Democrat--NEVER!!!

I keep holding out hope that Republicans will eventually learn this, but for now, they continue to disappoint me.

>> Democrats LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Dead Babies!

That may be the case for the depraved extremists that consider such results the acid test for the woman’s ultimate ‘freedom’ - that is, the freedom to kill, for any reason, the child growing in her womb.

Some Democrats are more repulsed by abortion than some Republicans - however, their votes do not always reflect that. This contra-norm is in the margins. But excluding the abnormality, it would seem most Democrats do support the legal killing of unborn children for various reasons.

Legalized abortion is, in terms of Liberal speak, legalized killing and hate crimes against individual humans who are denied their inner person.

Nelson the fraud will vote for the final bill anyway

They won't need Nelson's vote in the final bill. All Nelson has to do is vote "yes" to end the debate and then it becomes a matter of getting a simple majority.

Nelson said he would filibuster if his bill wasn’t passed. He must be held accountable.

Did Nelson promise to filibuster or did he just promise to vote "no" after the debate?

Anybody got a quote?

If he really cared about the pro-life issue he would not be a Democrat in the first place.

My thoughts exactly.

I am pleased with this vote. Lincoln continues to commit political suicide; Nelson is angry; Dorgan, Conrad and Bayh obviously scared politically; Casey looking like a fool; and Landrieu about to face more political Hell from the full force of the Catholic Church in Louisiana.

This was a good night in securing the votes to deny cloture.

You’re right! Now that you say that I realize I had confused the terms. How did “blue dog” come about?

Kill the Bill before they take our tax dollars and kill the unborn with them.

Is it legal to take our tax dollars and subsidize morally and ethically repulisive things?

What is happening to this country?

So we are being told in order to give women freedom of CHOICE then we all must give up our individual Freedom of CHOICE making us all complicit in the murder of the unborn...

I think that the socialists lost Ben Nelson. It may be very hard for him to vote on cloture to bring the bill for a final vote no matter how much pressure Obama and the other socialists put on him. We shall see.

I felt the exact same way about Stupak, screaming on here and at the television at the Repub’s not to vote for it. Then Bohner said “he would not play politics with life” and I knew he was right.

We do not have enough pro-life members in the House or the Senate to keep abortion from being funded. They will strip out any restrictions either in conference or after this monstrosity is shoved down our throats.

In the end I’d rather know I rather stand in front of God knowing I always voted for life. I just pray that our country, that is now majority pro-life, will elect those over the next 2-3 elections that can reverse what these communists have forced on us. We can’t win the battle but we may be able to win the war.

Setting up to be quite a lib fight.

Hey why stop there we might as well fund drug addicts and Prostitutes to, cloning sure lets all have little mini me’s so we can harvest their organs so we never die.

Hell if we are going to give in and fund abortion as a form of Birth Control the other stuff just makes perfect sense.

“Sen. Nelson: I’ll Filibuster If Bill Doesn’t Include Stupak Amendment”

Again, Nelson should be held accountable if he does not filibuster.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe 60 votes for debate and cloture would be required again before it could come up for a final vote in the Senate.
