“What sort of mental gymnastics does one perform to arrive upon inclusion by excluding the very basis for the event?”
That is the question of the day I think. :)

This thread needs that pic of the WH topped with a minaret.

Do not fool yourself. This nightmare will not end with a fair election.

When it shows up on the web, I’ll vouch for you as the first to think of it!

Every year we watch the WH Christmas with the First Lady on tv. We’ll be breaking that tradition for the next 4 years.

Announced at a recent Tea Party:
There will be no Nativity scene at the White House this year. Nothing to do with religion. They couldn’t find three wise men.

I guess I could be really crude here and say something about the ‘tree’ being obscured by somebody’s big a— but I’ll not.

Are you sure it was the Holy Bible or a Kuran? I suspect it’s much like in “Fried Green Tomatoes” when the preacher brought his own to swear on and it turned out it was really a copy of Moby Dick.

0bama OK'd it after ordering that the little baby be replaced with a picture of him with his head haloed by his logo.
No, he's already playing the part of the ass in the stable.

"The one in which he comments in one of his 'books' that he'd align himself with?" I don't believe he'd "align himself with any book". Guys like him don't follow a particular political or religious philosophy, they look to create their own. In his mind, he's above all that.
He did a fairly good job of hiding true beliefs - attended church, spoke the language, sensitive to other religions, etc, etc. But, that night he gave his "victory" speech in Grant Park, was the moment he really slipped. When Evan Thomas from Newsweek made an insightful comment about that night and said "Obama was watching us, watching him", that was the only honest piece of reporting any journalist had done. He doesn't aspire to follow or promote anyone else's agenda, other than his own.

The man is a disgrace to the office, and this nation. And to Humanity, as well.
Webster's Dictionary should include his ugly mug next to the word "Despicable".

A woman applying for a job in a Florida lemon grove seemed to be far too qualified for the job.
The foreman frowned and said, “I have to ask you this;
have you had any actual experience in picking lemons?”
She replied: “I’ve been divorced three times and I voted
for Obama.”

The next president is going to have to go on an apology tour and express regret over how #44 went out of his way to antagonize Christians. At least this apology will be sincere and the sane citizens among us will understand why the apology is necessary.

That he is. And I am becoming more vocal and direct in my placing of blame on the idiots who voted for him.
