The Environmental Protection Agency today finalized its finding that greenhouse gas emissions endanger public health and welfare and therefore must be regulated under the Clean Air Act. CEI announced that it will file suit in federal court to overturn the endangerment finding on the grounds that EPA has ignored major scientific issues, including those raised recently in the Climategate fraud scandal.
EPA is clinging for dear life to the notion that the global climate models are holding up, said Sam Kazman, CEI General Counsel. In reality, those models are about to sink under the growing weight of evidence that they are fabrications.

"Is power for the left greater than the loss of liberty for Americans?"I certainly hope not. But there are a lot of suckers out there with the power to vote. Count me as a pessimist trying to be optimistic.

Great. I constantly wrack my brain to come up with something I can do to counter the machinations of Big Government. One thing I do is what I can to financially support CEI, CATO, FR, Heritage, etc., ... another is to attend local Tea Parties and peaceful protests (even went to DC twice for Tea Parties).
BTW, Michelle Malkin started out at CEI.

“The Revolution is coming.”
I really like the idea floated on this board that the energy-producers in this country should just flat shut down, right now, because they now know that they are producing dangerous gases, This would be to protect themselves from future lawsuits...
I’ll bet that this “problem” could be solved, permanently and conclusively, in a week!

Your post illustrates reality in 2009: The only energy “revolutionaries” are willing to expend this time around is typing on a keyboard.

You are both wrong.
In 2007 the Supreme Court ruled(5-4) that CO2 was a pollutant and that EPA had to regulate CO2 in accordance with the Clean Air Act.
