Iran is backing the Shiite rebels in Yemen. Several Iranian ships loaded up with weapons were seized in the Red Sea by Yemeni, Saudi and Egyptian naval units. Problem for Saudi Arabia is the Shiite rebels crossed the border and occupied several small Saudi towns. The inability of the Saudi National Guard (unit directly under Royal control) to retake the towns is a blow to the prestige of the House of Saud. Jordan is sending in Commando troops, and I hear Egypt is on standby to help with troops if needed.
