Can anyone confirm this story? Can anyone certify the source? I’d like to believe all of this but I’m a skeptic by nature. I don’t even believe in man-made global warming. ;)

I bet he can invoke executive privilege. Executive privilege is a separation of powers concept, but only as it applies to the execution of executive power.
I suppose you can say that the Congressmen asking to see the President's birth documents is a separation of powers issue since they are in Congress and he is in the White House, but on the other hand Executive Privilege cannot be used to cover up crimes. And the Congress does have legitimate oversight responsibilities for Executive actions.

That is the main argument Leo Donofrio made about the COLB. Since it is out on the web, there is no legal reason for the State of Hawaii NOT to release the long form birth certificate.
The Democrats, specifically Rahm Emmanuel, has said “We own Hawaii.” Which implies it ain’t ever gon’na happen.
We can draw our own conclusions from that.
