White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters in his West Wing office Friday that the Republican Party's approval rating is "only slightly above the national drinking age."
Gibbs was criticizing GOP efforts to delay Senate passage of the healthcare bill.
With only two amendments being voted on so far, Gibbs was asked if a more realistic deadline for the healthcare bill is somewhere around the State of the Union address in late January.
"I'm not going to wiggle on the date," Gibbs said.
He said the president still wants a bill he can sign this year, and Obama "would be happy to sign it in Hawaii," where he is spending Christmas.
"I can think of any number of picturesque settings" where Obama could sign the bill, Gibbs said.
LOL!
He looks like the PC guy in the Mac ads.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs?
I wouldn’t feel comfortable having this boob take care of my goldfish.
What a dumbass.
Robert Gibbs is such a goofball I don’t think anyone takes him too seriously. As such, his mostly harmless goofiness is the perfect facade for hiding the nefarious acts the Obamunists are up to behind closed door, namely the deliberate destruction of the U.S. economy and military power.
If I was a latter-day Stalin or a latter-day Hitler or the like, and I was really clever, I’d want a guy like Gibbs as my press spokesperson.
Of course a Robert Gibbs only works well if you have a state-controlled press, or one like ours that is so domesticated that they’re simply a bunch of boot lickers. So Robert Gibbs is a pretty good choice for the Obamunists.

DUH! Another trick question from one of those viscious townhall MOMSTERS?"
"First I do my Baghdad Bob impersonation, then I go
into my Vinnie Barbarino act. Who? What? Where?"
This gibbs fellow must disgust his family. Isn’t it child abuse for him to be a model for his children?
