You beleive whateve4r you want, but liek I said- man up about it- the problem is that you’re simpyl not committed to your non beleif, and apaprently feel the need to gain the approval of htose who take God at His word, and I can only guess that it’s because, being insecure about your conviction, you wish to have one foot in two camps- As God sasid- He woudl rather we were either hot or cold- not lukewarm, and He wil l spew the lukewarm out of his heaven on judgement day- those straddlign hte fence, looking for approval in two camps are lukewarm- ?You want to be accepted by God’s peopel for beleivign whatever you like- whatever doesn’t conflict with your conscience, yet you als want to be accepted by the ‘progressives’ who liek to pretend they are ‘thinking for themselves’ by calling into questiuon God’s word- even goign so far as denyiong the basic premises of His word, and even dooubting Christ was God’s Son, and that He died o nthe cross and rose again for our sins. you’ve not committed yourself to either camp- and I’m afraid there’s no middle ground, as much as you and others woudl liek there to be on this issue- as per God’s wrod (which again, you and others doubt- so you don’t feel obligated to listen to His directions on how to be true Christians. )

like I said- you can either accept the invitation, and enter the house, or you can stand on the outside, and complain abotu those on the inside, but at least stay out and close the door or enter through- but don’t pretend that straddlign the threshold makes your views right- God is pretty clear about that- and that’s not a ‘belief’ on my part- it’s th3e word of God- instructions from your creator- either listen or don’t- but commit one way or hte other- being lukeqwarm and uncommitted doesn’t sit well with God as He said.
