1. The media continues to fail us by sanitizing stories or simply not reporting them at all. True to form, I first heard the full story this morning on conservative talk radio (Quinn & Rose). Then I catch it here. Otherwise, it was a story I had not heard and probably would not have. Leads me to wonder what else is not being reported.
2. These men should have been questioned and locked up. Why they were allowed to continue on their flight should be investigated and made public. I don’t think this was a matter of their being too stupid to realize how their actions would be interpreted. The incident seemed too much like a dry-run for something larger, if it was gimic of some sort... theys should still be punished.
I lied, third comment:
3. I wish a few concerned passengers would have dealt some street justice. Acting like a terrorist on an airplane after 9/11... they would have deserved everything they got.
I want to know why TSA isn't all over this. It is most certainly not just a customer service matter. Lots of things need to be examined here.
The federal Transportation Security Administration will not handle the incident, saying it is a customer-service issue between the passenger and the airline, a TSA spokesman said.
