I hope she does keep talking about the issues that most Americans want to know about. Obama’s birth certificate isn’t one of them. Let’s try the economy, the deficit, jobs, national security, foreign policy, REAL healthcare reform, etc.

I agree with you finally. I hope she does also, but I don’t want her to disclose a detailed plan until she declares her candidacy. Why give her opponents extra time to nit pick her policy strategies.

You're still employing that false dichotomy. The BC issue
is a national security issue. That is the reason why it is necessary to have a natural-born citizen as POTUS in the first place. Just because it isn't popular doesn't mean it isn't important.
Gov. Palin will keep talking about the other issues because it is more productive for her to do so. If the BC issue blows up on 0bama, then she won't have to do a thing, and it keeps her out of the fray. It's a wise move.
