Uh, no, skippy, a single foreign born parent does NOT disqualify you. If you were born on US soil, both parents could be illegal aliens.
As it is I think Zippy WAS born in Mobassa. Now, we know that Kenyan dad is “no help.” Mom WAS a US citizen BUT we know she whelped him at age 18-—and according to the laws at the time she’d have had to live in the US for FIVE years after her 14th brithday in order to pass on “natural born” status to zippy. She was a year short. THAT’S why zippy is ineligible. IF he actually was born here, I don’t know why he’d be spending over a million dollars to hid his LONG form BC.
For citizenship. What you are describing is "native born". For Natural born, your parents must have been citizens, and in most cases, except for children of serving military and diplomats, you must be born in the US.
In order to "pass on" citizenship at all. But those are statutory rules, and thus change from time to time. The meaning of the Constitutional term does not change, absent an amendment changing it. It means what it meant when written and ratified. Else why bother with a written constitution at all?
