Ayers and Obama share the same radical agenda. Obama has to do things as president to keep up the facade that he's not like Ayers until more of the radical agenda gets locked in place. Ayers knows this, but each must play their role in the revolution.

When friends have a disagreement it doesn’t mean they are no longer friends.

Evidently the author doesnt know that. Perhaps he never had a friend.

Nice try, Clarence, you BO cultist. Ayers is putting on an act, as all Leftists do, to attempt misdirection because his comrade is in deep doo-doo.
We have seen this for eight years while the Clintoons were in office, so we have not just fallen off the turnip truck.

“To hear the right-wing crowd, you would think Bill Ayers and President Barack Obama were joined at the hip.”

And to hear Barack Obama, Bill Ayers is just some random guy he’d occasionly run into in the neighborhood.

Now you tell me who’s more full of shiite.

How dumb does Clarence think we are? Does he think for one second if Obama was still in the Senate he wouldn't be voting against sending troops to Afghanistan? Although Obama’s voting record is slim, we know exactly how he really despises the war on terror.

Meanwhile, what are the Glenn Becks, Sean Hannitys and Sarah Palins of the world going to talk about now that Ayers says Obama’s a conservative war hawk?”

To a hard line left wing loon like Ayers, even Stalin would have been a “conservative hawk”.
What the terrorist Bill Ayers has to say about 0bozo is of no relevance whatsoever, to how communist 0bama is. It's just the normal Alinski tactics of having the worst communist ever to have taken power in this country, get attacked by his loony left pals, to make him appear “moderate”.

It’s the usual GOOD COP/BAD COP charade the leading lights of this Administration and this Democratic Party have been
playing for public consumption ever since Day One of Obama in the WHIte House. Just yesterday, in the most unconvincing
tones I’ve ever heard from her, Maxine Waters pretended to take Obama to task for not doing anything to provide jobs for her consituents: at different times, both Reid , Pelosi, and others have willingly used the same trick to make Obama look more moderate to the “Independents” and/or anyone not stupid enough to see through this GC/BC trick.
They’re ALL FAR, FAR LEFT, and their massive social/political Engineering plans have been in place for some time, including probably these cynical strategies, which are just part of their playbook, and are sent directly to the MSM to be dutifully disseminated directly into the confused brains of the voters. Now they’re even quietly suggesting that Obama is basically following the Bush policy in Afghanistan “for all practical purposes”.
True or not, it’s a cover for the bigger operation going on underneath it, which is to sanitize Obama as a Moderate in order to pave the way for large parts of “the whole package”
, especially the domestic package, to be allowed through and secure control through settled law and policy.
Some of us are not fooled by this rancid act of misdirection.

If Bill Ayers is really angry at Barack Obama, then I look forward to Ayers going public with all the details of his friednship with Obama through the years. Ayers has been uncharacteristically silent about this close friendship ever since Obama announced his candidacy in January 2007. Now, nearly three years later, it’s time to spill the beans.

The microphone is right here, Professor Ayers.

The shopworm Clarence Page is trying to recover from a column he wrote that might have included the faintest tinge of criticism about Obama. It wasn’t exactly criticism but it wasn’t as worshipful as it should have been.

You can bet he heard from his homies about that and now he’s trying to get some brownie (’scuse the expression) points back.

Why would Obama send only 30 thousand troops anyway? Didn't McCrystal ask for between 40 to 70 thousand, or a minimum of 40,000? What is Obama's goal here? If he wants to 'create a "civilian security force more powerful and better funded than the US Military", (his words from GB), one way to get there would be to 'shrink' the Military. (Apparently through attrition).

1. Make up new rules that guarantee more soldiers get killed every month than ever before.

2. Send more into the meat grinder, just not enough to prevent the ongoing slaughter of our Military.

Not to agree with Clarence Page (ugh!), but Ayers is a "no retreat/no surrender" radical's radical. He's been trashing Dem Presidents along with Republicans for as long as I can remember, for not fulfilling his Marxist fantasies.

I don't think it's an act. He expected better from Obama, and well he should have, for the investment he made in him.

I hope he self-combusts.

Oh, yeah, like we’re going to believe Obama is now more aligned with conservatives than the radical left. I am a conservative and the mother of a Marine who will be leaving in January for Afghanistan. If Obama was truly serious about ending this war, he would send in MORE troops, PRONTO. I heard Admiral this morning say 30,000 troops over 12 MONTHS!!! With most being in place by this summer. What kind of a surge is that? Didn’t I hear Obama say “swift” “fast” surge in early next year. McChrystal said in August that in 12 months we’ll have lost. I understand that an effective counterinsurgency would require 400,000 troops. We’re no where near that even with Nato and Afghan forces. Pray for our troops.
