Canada's image lies in tatters.

When you think of Canada, which qualities come to mind? The world's peacekeeper, the friendly nation, a liberal counterweight to the harsher pieties of its southern neighbour, decent, civilised, fair, well-governed? Think again. This country's government is now behaving with all the sophistication of a chimpanzee's tea party. So amazingly destructive has Canada become, and so insistent have my Canadian friends been that I weigh into this fight, that I've broken my self-imposed ban on flying and come to Toronto.

Canada and PM Harper give us hope. If they can sink so far into the liberal toilet and begin pulling themselves out, then so can we.
As Baroness Thatcher prepared the way for Ronald Reagan, so let PM Harper prepare the way for Sarah Palin.

Figures. Must be associated with the tar sands. I’ve been seeing reports that we may ban importation of oil from the tar sands. If we do that it won’t impact the Canadians. They will run a pipeline to their coast and sell it to the Chinese. We would be cutting our own throats though. Canada is our number one provider of oil imports and far and away the most stable and friendly oil exporting country we deal with.

I’m actually happy that this global warming zealot and peddler of lies is speaking about us like this. Now, Mr. Monbiot, kindly F*** OFF back to England. There’s a good chap.

Until now I believed that the nation that has done most to sabotage a new climate change agreement a belief in Santa Claus was the United States. I was wrong. The real villain is Canada. See? If you substitute Santa Claus in place of climate change, he starts to make more sense.

Canada is a mean spirited country that only offers health care to its citizens.

I`ve kinda held a grudge against Canada for granting
sanctuary long ago to VN war deserters.
Looks like sanity has returned to our neighbors to

Here is what I tell my Canadian friends about Canada’s role in “global warming”. Canada has roughly 30 million people. If it disappeared tomorrow, with the “carbon footprint” of its entire population, the affect on global climate would be immeasurable. So, it doesn’t matter what Canada does in terms of containing “global warming”. We are going to party on in the Great White North.

LOL! CBC has Fatwa! Love it. I think the CBC must be the most insanely PC TV network in the world. They make the BBC (all white people are evil) look like Rush Limbaugh!
I love the (new) Canada and Harper. The leftist vermin in CA tried to steal his election ala ACORN but he smashed em hard like a big hockey defenseman and then shot and scored like Gretzky.
Hopefully he leads Canada for a long time. His piano playing and singing are very good too. Harper is the Reagan of the Great White North.

Crazy uncle in the attic until about 6 years ago when the various conservative (more or less) parties finally managed to “unite the right” and form the The Conservative Party of Canada.
