White House Web Site Asks ‘Who Do You Trust?’ When It Comes to Government-Run Health Care

Few would disagree with the Obama Administration's assertion that four words constitute "the fundamental question on health insurance reform." Now, the question -- one that appears on the White House web site -- is, WHO DO YOU TRUST?

Few would disagree with the assertion that four words now appearing on the White House web site constitute "the fundamental question on health insurance reform." Those words are "WHO DO YOU TRUST?"

In order to answer that question, I compared the White House "spin" to what I heard directly from medical professionals and others in the St. Louis area.

First, I clicked on the graphic (above) which shows the aforementioned question in the form of a headline to the left of a photo of a very concerned-looking Vice President Joe Biden.

Instantly, I was whisked to a page featuring a two-paragraph introduction to a 3.5-minute video featuring Biden and two others -- a nurse representing the American Nurses Association and a physician from the American Academy of Family Physicians -- who, according to the White House, "know our heath care system best." Next, I compared what the people in the White House video said to what physicians, nurses and others told me when I spoke with them Nov. 21 at the Million Med March rally in against government-run health care [FYI: On short notice, that event drew several hundred to Memorial Plaza outside the St. Louis County Government Building in Clayton, Mo.]

In both a post on this blog and an article for PAJAMAS MEDIA, I highlighted how several physicians and nurses feel about the so-called "reforms" now being tossed around in the nation's capitol. This 90-second video provides highlights. Watch my video, and find out what doctors outside of Washington, D.C., say.

After watching both the White House video and the video I shot, the question remains: "WHO DO YOU TRUST?"

I don't know about you, but I'll trust the doctors who oppose government-run health care and all of the negatives that come with it.

At one time I trusted our government to “do the right thing” for our country. Unfortunately that is no longer true. It started about six months ago with the advent of the new administration and it's collection of thugs in power. Everything they say appears to have a different meaning. Everything that they do has negative results.

Having just seen the first Batman movie (with Nicholson as the Joker)again, I find this highly ironic. In that movie, the Joker holds a big parade for the citizens of Gotham, throwing money into the air, while asking (in the music) “Who do you trust?”. All the while, the Joker is planning to gas those people.

And Obama being portrayed as the Joker, too.
