Well, I will say this: If Peanuts was ever funny (I think it was), it became completely unfunny the last ten years or so of its run. I don't mean, "That joke's not funny." I mean, "There's no joke in this strip."

Ironic that Schulz threw his faith away and became a secular humanist, but Linus telling people the true meaning of Christmas will reach far more people than anything he said about humanism.

Thanks for the comments. It’s interesting to see your take on his last ten years. I believe your comments on the true meaning of Christmas in the strip, is the reason it should be on, and reveals that my comments in the overall scheme of things were wrong.

I can’t wade through his presentation. It’s just annoying to me. But if it provides a good message to our children, it’s something they should be exposed to. Positive reinforcement is an important tenet of parenthood, and child development.
