Resist DC: A Step-by-Step Plan for Freedom
Tenth Amendment Center ^ | 11-29-2009 | State Rep Matthew Shea

Posted on 11/30/2009 11:24:33 AM PST by RepublicnotaDemocracy

This summer, legislators from several states met to discuss the steps needed to restore our Constitutional Republic. The federal government has ignored the many state sovereignty resolutions from 2009 notifying it to cease and desist its current and continued overreach. The group decided it was time to actively counter the tyranny emanating from Washington D.C.

From those discussions it became clear three things needed to happen.

1. State Legislatures need to pass 10 key pieces of legislation “with teeth” to put the federal government back in its place.

2. The people must pass the legislation through the Initiative process if any piece of the legislative agenda fails.

3. County Sheriffs must reaffirm and uphold their oaths to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

With the advent of the Tea Party Movement, many people have been asking how exactly we can make the above reality. What follows is Part I of the outline of that plan regarding state legislation, the action steps any concerned citizen can take to see this legislation to fruition, and the brief history and justifications behind each.

2. The people must pass the legislation through the Initiative process if any piece of the legislative agenda fails.

That's the problem right there.

There are too many people in this country who want a federal government to coddle them, wipe their bottoms and noses and give them handouts from cradle to grave no matter what it costs. The sense of entitlement...or the people who hold it dear...must be eliminated.

“3. County Sheriffs must reaffirm and uphold their oaths to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. “

THIS is KEY. Remember, if the feds come after you or try to shut you down - call your sheriff -

Right now, get one of Sheriff Macks brochures - or several - and take them, in person, to you local and other state Sheriffs.

Write a letter to editor informing the public in your area. If people realize that local Sheriffs trump the feds, we'll all be safer.

Sheriff Mack, when ordered by the feds to do something he didn't agree with, he defied them - all the way to the Supreme Court - AND WON.

This is a powerful weapon we can use against the usurpers in Washington - we need to use it -

Make sure there's “No Sheriff Left Behind” in your county/state.
And contact your state legislators and insist on reestablishing State's Rights with new legislation.
Once 2/3’s of the states do this, we can put an amendment in the Constitution in unequivocal, twist-proof language, cementing States Rights forever - which would kill all these take over bills as they would have NO jurisdiction over any state.

The Federal Gov’t will be shrunk back to it's very limited role, like protecting us from foreign enemies.

These are actions we can take part in NOW. This is a way to beat them back.

Send today for Sheriff Mack's brochure. Get it and deliver it hand to hand, face to face to your sheriff and then have a letter to editor printed outlining it and telling the public that you have so delivered the brochure to the sheriff. That will leave any lib sheriff with no way to deny or ignore the law in protecting us from the federal gov’t. What are you waiting for ;o) - send for the brochure NOW - today.

I saw it, thanks.

4. Support State Governors who are willing to nullify Fedgov mandates. They have the executive and 9th and 10th Amendment rights to so. Some are already talking about it.
