By Seattle Times staff A SWAT team and police negotiators surrounded a Leschi home in Seattle where the man sought for questioning in the Lakewood police shooting may be hiding. Police responded to the home at East Yesler Way and 32nd Avenue South where police stopped a woman who was leaving the home. She told them Maurice Clemmons was on the property and bleeding, according to a law enforcement source. The woman told police that someone had dropped Clemmons off at the home. The source also said police had received tips about two other properties they needed to search, in Queen Anne and Renton. At 8:44 p.m., Seattle police received information that the person of interest may be in a Leschi home, according to Seattle police spokesman Jeff Kappel. Police are now trying to confirm the identity of the person inside. Police blocked off the street at East Yesler and 30th Avenue South. Police are telling residents to stay indoors and keep their doors locked.

He aint no terrorist...He's just a common criminal from Arkansas.
Not to mention the ‘get out of jail free’ cards they will get.
You are right. The police are looking for his wife, Nicole Cheryleen Smith, and they think she might be driving a green 1997 Mazda Millenia to Arkansas.
I heard shot in the stomach today. From my hearing we went from torso to abdomen to stomach.
I'll make a donation after this ordeal concludes. I just can't concentrate on much of anything right now. Maybe because this has so closely followed Ft. Hood, but I'm really upset.
Shot in the torso and shot in the abdomen = a bit of a conflict. I have heard both.
~~~
I guess I missed that,,,
Seems to me that if the bullet hit bone/vitals it would
at least have knocked him down...
Got some videos for you all if you are interested.
Have the Seattle Police checked Mike Huckabee’s house yet?
Thank you. I’ll watch now. I’ll need to leave the scanner for a few minutes. :)
I am grateful to have you and the others here to share my anger with, and thank you for being here.
Good point. We know he was hit enough to have him bleed in the house, car and bandage was found in the park.
Darn I really would like to know what type of bullet hit this piece of meat. No luck so far.
Hearst was really weird for me, because, for the only time in my life, I felt like I was channeling someone. I was editing news video at the time, and got to speculating with a reporter about where she was, I had a really strong feeling she was across the bay in Daly City. A couple of days later, it turned out she’d been there. The reporter started passing along my ‘instincts’ to his FBI contact.
On the night she came to L.A., I couldn’t sleep and spent the whole night driving the freeways. Turned out she’d been on the freeway at the same time. Next day, I got a sudden desire to go to Hollywood Park and, by golly, she was involved in a hardware store holdup a few blocks away. After the SLA shootout that followed, I knew she was alive, somewhere in Orange county then, as quickly as the feelings started, they stopped. Coincidence, superstition, paranormal, who knows? It was just a weird event.
I’m getting absolutely no instinct about this dude. I was just thinking about the guy from So. Cal who killed his wife and was nabbed by the RCMP two days later in Victoria, though. I know they were alerted early on, hope the distraction last night didn’t give him time to hop the border. Borders have been good to him lately.
My husband says most police carry a Glock handgun. In case that helps.
Police enter a house on South 132nd Street and Renton Avenue South after securing the area.
Great instincts! Amazing when it happens isn’t it?
As far as this guy goes he has a difficulty with that gut shot. He’s going to have to get it treated sometime...and oozing blood can be quite an attention getter along the way. I believe with him having killed four cops and the manner he executed them in, he’s elevated interest in his capture ten fold. I’d bet he’s either hunkered down in WA or on his way back to AK. They tend to run to familiar locations as I understand.
Ohhhhh tell your husband thank you for me.
Regarding Patty Hearst, that’s absolutely amazing, and eerie.
MarMema, thanks for the links. The one was very sad, which suited my mood. I hate that the police officers are going through another night searching for the mass murderer all the while knowing that he is getting help from fellow thugs and relatives who likely share his hatred and distain for police officers.
I’ve checked Twitter and there’s nothing new there either.
Prayers for all and if I can’t sleep, I’ll check back....soon.
We know he was hit enough to have him bleed in the house, car and bandage was found in the park.
~~~
Maybe the LEO’s have followed this trail,A to B to C
and can tell if the blood loss is less at the end of
the trail,,,
That would indicate a flesh/grazing wound,,,
I know that a gut-shot deer won’t bleed much,,,
They’ll go for miles...
It’s been awhile since we’ve shared a thread. Matthew Pavelka I believe it was. Thanks for coming.
