New dangers for Dems in 2010 (Daily Kos poll finds HUGE enthusiasm gap favors Republicans!)

Are storm clouds brewing on the horizon for Democrats?
That’s the bad news for Dems from a source that usually prefers news that makes Republicans look bad.  When voters were asked if they will “definitely vote” or not in next year’s congressional elections, the latest weekly tracking poll commissioned by the decidedly liberal Daily Kos shows a growing enthusiasm gap in favor of Republicans.
It breaks down like this. The first number is certain or likely to vote; the second is unlikely or certain not to vote.

Republican Voters:  81 / 14
Independent Voters:  65 / 23
Democratic Voters:  56 / 40

That means 81 percent of self-described Republicans say they are certain or likely to vote,  compared to 65 percent of independent voters and only 56 percent of Democrats. (Full cross-tabs here.)

Is it to rally their troops out of their lethargy?

That was my initial thought upon reading the headline. Nothing I've seen since has changed my mind.

Corzine campaign TV ads frequently mentioned Obama.... one had Obama at a Corzine rally, praising Corzine. At the time, my impression was that, given O’s unpopularity, it was foolish strategy by Corzine people to link him to Obama......it turns out the strategy wasn't the work of the Corzine people, but was directed from the Obama White House.

The WH's lack of political savvy was glaringly on display.

Early in the campaign, an onslaught of weird ads blanketed the pricey NY media markets-----showed Ohaha at a rally praising Corzine---with strange "reaction shots" of people w/ deadpan faces, watching Ohaha.

Predictably Corzine's numbers fell precipitously.

But WH know-it-alls still didn't "get it." Ohaha and Biden came back to NJ---more weird Ohaha ads ensued. Corzine also ran some sap-happy liberal "I got feelings" ads.

As I posted----none of the pundits thought the Repub could pull it off. The rest is history. It appears the WH bombed.....the unions failed Corzine.....and the Latino suckup failed.

According to Ohaha's slimy Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, Ohaha was "busy with other matters" election night and "wasn't really concerned" with election results...an indication the WH is sucking up valium and vodka in order to anesthetize themselves from the aftermath.....trying to convince themselves the election was not a referendum on Obama.

The American people are disgusted with RATs and RINOs destroying our freedom, and our country.

We now have a democrat party that is a complete nightmare.......a republican party whose only argument is “We are not democrats”. Time to take RATS and RINOs down. ....RINOs spend like drunken sailors when they're in charge. But the Republican Party is our only viable chance. We have to work toward winning primaries w/ bonafide conservatives on the Republican ticket.....who will draw Indy votes.

HOLD CANDIDATES' FEET TO THE FIRE. It's in our hands to dictate the terms. These are the terms under which we conservatives permit candidates to earn our support:

(1) Your conservative group holds an official position within the campaign;

(2) Your group's issue is affirmed in the candidate's platform;

(3) Your group is in attendance at all campaign strategy meetings;

(4) Your group holds a paid job in the campaign;

(5) Your group holds a paid position in the winning candidate's elective office.

(6) The candidate must renounce RINOS and pukeneos before he/she gets conservative endorsement.

PASS THE WORD To tea partiers, 9/12 marchers, pro-lifers; defense of marriage, 2nd amendment, anti ObamaCare, anti-amnesty, anti cap/trade conservatives.
